The story behind
A Lot Of Books was founded when I, Lotte (the owner), took over the pre-existing store called ‘Het Book Café’ in September 2023. It’s an all-English bookstore with a large range of genres. From fantasy, classics, and romance to poetry and thrillers, you name it. There is even a small secondhand section where you can find pre-loved books in good condition.
It is also a place where you can enjoy a good cup of coffee, matcha, or chai. You can meet up with friends, family, or co-workers. You can study or work quietly while enjoying a drink. Everyone is welcome and wanted here. Please don’t hesitate to ask me anything when you’re visiting or start a conversation. I’m more than happy to help and talk about books and life.
